Martin and Erickson Inc. is not a new company. In fact the company is over 30 years old. We have just taught ourselves a new trade. C A Martin and S N Erickson have been business partners in Dallas Texas operating as a contracting and sub-contracting company in the manufacturing of commercial casework and millwork.

We moved to Hunt Texas in 2001 and began developing a ranch property. Through the Master Gardeners program my wife and I became interested in rainwater. We built a system for our house and now have a rather sophisticated hybrid system that includes an alluvial well for maximum rainwater performance. We became completely mesmerized with the rainwater environment. We started building for the neighbors and one thing has lead to another. We now have enough experience to declare ourselves in the " Rainwater Business".

Our previous business experience has exposed us to many trades: to include, electrical, air, all sorts of controls, plumbing, motors, pumps, and management of a small business. We have all our own equipment for site preparation and work with a few sub-contractors when we need rock or block work or something special. We believe in building relationships and not just getting jobs. Nils and I perform the work personally regarding all hook-ups of the systems. We are recently trained as Accredited Professionals by the American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association. Our next training is scheduled for August 2010 for a weeks long training in Junction Texas by the same (ARSCA) for the Series 300 accreditation. This is a new industry and we promise to keep up with the current rules and laws and technology.
